It’s Not Over

Big O Signs Executive Orders

It’s the day after Christmas and I awoke with a bit of a hang-over, not so much caused by alcoholic beverages of which I did imbibe, but hung-over with the continuing efforts of one Barack H Obama to cement some sort of legacy for his abysmal Presidential administration. Piled on top of executive order after executive order, he has thrown our best ally under the bus, and tried to make drilling for oil on certain federal lands permanently impossible.

Many say that this is strictly ideological, and that Obama is so attuned to the ideals of the environmental crazies that he has to do this. Horse feathers!

It is hubris.

From his very beginnings everything has been all about self. If you listen to his speeches, or addresses at his press conferences, almost every other sentence leads off with a first-person singular pronoun, I. Pretty soon you have to turn-off the TV or vomit.  His dedication to self and legacy is legend.

There is almost a whole month before Donald Trump’s inauguration. What will Snake Obama do to screw things up for the incoming administration, and the nation?

It’s not over.

Sustainability Does Not Exist

Oh, boy. Now I can sit back and wait for the Bangs, Whistles, Whammos, Biffs, and Bongs that the environmental and climate change anointed will be throwing at me. Notice the use of onomatopoeia in the previous sentence. But, I digress.

As I was cruising around the blogosphere, I made my regular stop at Watts Up With That, the most popular scientific website in existence. I found an article titled, “UNESCO: We Must Redesign Global Literacy Programmes to Incorporate our Climate Propaganda“.

The article is about a UNESCO worldwide literacy proposal, “International Literacy Day, devoted this year to the connection between literacy and sustainable development, provides us with an opportunity to remember a simple truth: literacy not only changes lives, it saves them.

OK. I will buy that literacy helps save the lives of ignorant people the world over, but what does sustainable development have to do with that? Perhaps Wikipedia can help.

Sustainability:  “In ecology, sustainability (from sustain and ability) is the property of biological systems to remain diverse and productive indefinitely.”

Now that everyone has had a chance to see the definition of sustainability, I have to point out that nothing is forever. The context of the word, indefinitely means “without ending”. Wow, mom and dad. They have found infinity.

NOT!

Do you suppose that our ecologists really think that infinity exists? Their definition of sustainable ecologies makes you wonder if any have ever been to high school, much less college.

This article is all about trying to find a connection between literacy and sustainability. It appears that there is none. A bunch of PhD’s probably originated this fallacy, but it’s not hard to prove that they are either completely wrong, or are trying to perpetuate a scam on the American people.

Nothing is sustainable. Period. Every physical system takes energy, work, supplies, water, effort to continue to exist, etc. An infinitely sustainable system, by definition, is impossible.

How about short-term sustainability? This is what we work for everyday, and we apply all our energy into surviving, or sustaining life for another minute, hour, day…

That, my good friends, is sustainability, but the goal of the ecologists is for some sort of stasis, or death, because nothing is sustainable by their definition. As improbable as it seems, death is exactly what the extreme ecologists advocate. Mankind, according to them, is bad and does not deserve the resources necessary to survive and prosper on the planet. Kill, baby, kill the bad human.

Dr John Holdren, his colleagues and coauthors, Drs Paul and Ann Ehrlich, and a large contingent of ecologists believe that planet Earth is better served by decreasing the human population. In educated circles this idea is called genocide. John Holdren is the personal science advisor to President Barack Obama. Now you know where Obama gets his infantile ideas on environment.

There is no reality about ecological sustainability. There is no connection between ecological sustainability and literacy, unless by becoming literate you can judge this ecological scam accurately. That’s the only connection. Smart people don’t believe ecological sustainability exists.

The idea of sustainability is political, not scientific. The UN, a rogue political body, wants to indoctrinate children with this fallacious idea.

The World Held Hostage

For two days this week the world was held hostage by three terrorists weilding assault rifles in Paris, France. The French police are denied the right to carry fire arms, and were sitting ducks for the terrorists, as were the journalists and cartoonists at Charlie Hebdo,  a magazine that specializes in publishing satirical articles and cartoons.

Thirteen people were murdered, including an unarmed French policeman. The terrorist spotted the wounded policeman, and walked up to him and killed him with his rifle. The terrorists, as of this morning, are dead. The French police stormed the terrorists who were hiding in a large printing plant, and they also killed an allied terrorist in a Jewish deli where there were hostages.

One of favorite targets of Charlie Hebdo is Mohammed, the self proclaimed prophet of Islam. Another target of Charlie Hebdo is Jesus Christ, the embodiment of God for Christians. Christians don’t like the defilement of Jesus, but instead of beheading those who do, Christians pray for those who blaspheme.

Muslims treat Mohammed like a god, and in their eyes it is more than a sin to criticize Muhammad. Indeed, our backward Islamic friends consider any slight of Mohammed to be a crime punishable by death.

Islam is steeped in ancient tribal traditions, like cutting off the hand of a thief; executing a woman for adultery while the equally guilty man goes free; and its priesthood (Imams) issuing death warrants for perceived slights by anyone who does not agree with their world view. Islam is all about death, and a dead prophet.

Islam cannot exist in a world of competing ideas and religions without resorting to violence. Christianity has prospered for over two thousand years in this kind of world, even with physical persecution.  There is no negotiating with Muslims, and any words contrary to their belief system are not to be tolerated.

To make matters worse, there is an entire class of people in the Western world who excuse the actions of the misguided world of Islam. Included in this portion of our population is our very own President, Barack Obama. If you remember when he started his presidential campaign, many of us noted that Obama had no professional record of any note, and that his childhood was spent in households where the dominant talk and thought were alternately socialistic and Islamic.

President Obama may be a very smart man, but he has been deluded by the bankrupt ideas of his parents. Now, we see the hypocrisy of the media in not vetting the lackluster man who would become our President.

We can vote out the liberal, politically correct and intellectually dishonest Democrats, but we can do very little about the world wide problem of Islamic terrorism without a leader in our country prepared to meet the challenge. The United States has been fulfilling a leadership role in the protection of democracy and freedom around the world since World War I in the early twentieth century. Backing down from this very important responsibility is exactly the wrong thing to do.

President Barack Obama does not get it.

I Told You So!

Barack Obama now has the distinction of having lost two wars. TWO WARS that have already been fought, and that the United States of American has won. Thousands of lives and billions of dollars were spent in these endeavors only to be thrown away by what some people call the smartest guy in the room.

To make matters worse, this whole debacle was foretold by millions of Americans when Barack Obama first took office over five years ago. In only five years Barack Obama has thrown away all this blood and treasure, all in obedience to lofty-thinking, simplistic left-wing morons. I am talking about the Democrat Party, here.

The ability to say, “I told you so!” is not helpful, at all. Barack Obama has dropped-the-ball, screwed-the-pooch, stepped-on-his-Johnson, pooped-in-the-punchbowl, farted-at-the-finish, and has made a mess of generally everything since he has been in office.

But, saying “I told you so!” reflects on me. Call it what you like, but it is all about Obama’s hubris.

You can say what you want about the necessity of fighting these wars, but at the time we thought it was the right thing to do. Those who say otherwise now are denying their own history. Plus, we all knew that there would be a time when our presence in Iraq would be a plus factor in dealing with Iran. Now, Iran is planning on entering Iraq for their own purposes with no opposition.

Oh, what a fool we have for a President. Welcome to the Obama age where everybody is a loser.

Neville Chamberlain Called Barack Obama…

Neville Chamberlain  (18 March 1869 – 9 November 1940)  called Barack Obama wanting his foreign policy back. Appease, appease, appease seems to be the track for Barack Obama. Or, maybe ignore, ignore, ignore is more descriptive of the Obama Doctrine.

Whatever Barack Obama is doing is not working. In Obama’s address to the graduating class at West Point Military Academy, things got really trivial. Obama used the first person, singular, I, thirty-seven times to my count. This was not a speech about the future of the graduating West Point cadets. It was a speech to outline Barack Obama’s excuses and vision for foreign policy.

He launched into his mythical achievements instead of concentrating on the cadets and the future they face. He said, “Al Qaeda’s leadership on the border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been decimated, and Osama bin Laden is no more. ”

Of course, we have known since September 11, 2001 that even though Al Qaeda had a leader, they were organized such that when that leader was eliminated, Al Qaeda would spread like cock roaches, starting new organizations in the image of Al Qaeda everywhere. And, they have gained ascendency in Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, etc. They are all over, and are known by many different names.

Obama also says, “when a typhoon hits the Philippines, or schoolgirls are kidnapped in Nigeria, or masked men occupy a building in Ukraine, it is America that the world looks to for help.”

America has yet to help the Ukraine keep Russia out. The Nigerian kidnapped girls are still out there, somewhere. Yeah. we send humanitarian help to those struck by typhoons, and other natural disasters, but Obama seems to be afraid of Vladimir Putin.

Obama has yet to help anybody in Syria, and the Benghazi Cover Up is standard policy for the Obama White House.

Essentially, Obama says he will not get involved in foreign entanglements if the United States is not directly threatened. Of course, in most historical cases, our nation was not directly threatened. Think about Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq War I, and Iraq War II, and Afghanistan. The only direct threat was terrorism, and it is arguable that terrorist in the Middle East cannot directly hit the United States.

If you have any more delusions like this, you should not be President. In each of those cases there were threats to the United States, or one of our allies.

Whenever one of our allies or friends is challenged around the world, what do we do? That’s the basic issue Obama must answer. It is trivially simple when somebody is throwing bullets or missiles at us.

Like Neville Chamberlain, Obama will let the bad guys take over a significant portion of the world before he perceives a threat.

Weak Country, Weaker Leadership

I really hate writing about this stuff. It is painful to even think about how our once great country has been weakened, and how we have forfeited our world-wide leadership role to a tin-horn dictator like Vladimir Putin.

It took Barack Obama only five years to achieve this seeming monumental task of taking the greatest nation in the history of the world and making it an also ran nation of sponges and nere-do-wells. Strong language?

Who can forget Barack Obama’s maiden apology tour in the beginning of his administration? In that period he sucked up to the French because we do not speak that language. He threw the Israeli’s under the bus because he thinks that he can suck up to terrorist run Islamic organizations to bring about middle-east peace.

How can anyone forget Obama’s attempt at “restarting” US/Russian relations when there was nothing wrong with our positions, anyway? Then, our fearless leader killed plans for a missile shield in Eastern Europe, a move that threw our best allies under the bus, and for what? The whole thing was theater to try to make Obama look good.

Did I mention the Arab Spring debacles? Remember Obama’s apology speech to the world of Islam that we have been wrong in out approach to Muslims? Do you remember when Barack Obama did not support the Egyptian military, but instead let the leadership of that country go to the Egyptian Brotherhood? Why did Obama praise this process.

Don’t forget about Libya where Barack Obama coined an expression that will forever haunt him and his administration. Leading from behind, indeed!

Our Maximum Leader, Barack Obama, has drawn another line in the sand in Syria. He has called for an end to the Assad regime. Where has he been while Assad has been cementing his control, and murdering thousands? That’s real leadership of the Obama kind.

I haven’t talked about Obama-care, a bad idea executed very badly. Nor have I written about the foolish idea of surrendering the management of Internet domain names to the United Nations, the first step in increased fees and content control of the most important technological and sociological developments in the last thousand years.

Weak leaders do not make just weak leaders. Weak leaders most often give no leadership. This is the story of Barack Obama, no leadership.
