Democrat Benghazi Strategy

Hillary has been in the hot seat for a couple of days, now, and nothing untoward has happened to her. At least, nothing that you would recognize from her demeanor. She sits in her seat and takes the accusations and recitations of her incompetence like a person who just doesn’t understand what’s happening to her.

Her Democrat colleagues on the panel have come to her assistance, over and over to some success. For example, Representative Trey Gowdy, Committee Chairman from South Carolina, was grilling her on the content of her emails from Blumenthal. Rep Ezra Cummins, D Maryland, interrupted to claim that all of Blumenthal’s testimony had to be released for “fairness” An argument ensued where Gowdy, Cummins, and some empty suit from California were trying to interrupt the line of questioning by claiming some sort of parliamentary maneuver.

Gowdy didn’t bite, but that incident is a good example of how the Democrats are trying to pull the subject away from Hillary’s incompetence, misbehavior, and illegal activities as Secretary of State.

It is obviously the strategy of the Democrats on the committee to confuse, misguide, and generally make noise whenever they can. They are good a making noise.

However, neither Hillary or the Democrats can take the American people’s’ attention away from a revealing email that Hillary sent to her FAMILY (Bill, Chelsea, Sox the cat) on the night of the Benghazi attack that the Libyan embassy was under attack by a unit similar to Al Qaeda. A similar communication was unearthed from Hillary to the President of Egypt at about the same time that the US knew that the so called video they later blamed for the burning and killing had nothing to do with the attack. These two communications would serve to cause an indictment of any other person, but the Obama Whitehouse is taking a hands off attitude.

Obama obviously wants a Democrat to succeed him in office.

Our nation has put up with these incompetent, malicious politicians for long enough. It is time for this crap to stop.

What can you do to change things and put that woman in jail where she belongs?

What Will The Congress Do?

It will be interesting to see how the US Congress will vote on Obama’s recent Syrian bombing proposal. As we know, Obama, after muddling around with the Syrian question for three years, has decided that now is the time to do something. Well, except he wants the Congress to cover his rear.

Barack Obama never makes a decision alone. He always has somebody available to take the fall.

It is my estimation that the Congress will vote to let Obama bomb Syria, not because it is the right thing to do, but because our misbegotten President has another week to twist arms. Who knows how much dirt the CIA, FBI, and NSA can dig up on a Congressman in that length of time? Obama will do anything to get the Congress to vote for his initiative.

There was a time when we could have decided to aid the Free Syrian Army. But, with Obama’s muddling, that time has passed. Al Queda militias have ascended into the lead. Bombing the Syrian army assets will primarily aid Al Queda. Who in their right mind would aid Al Queda? Would Barack Obama do that?

Plus, there are legitimate questions about who is lobbing sarin gas, and killing hundreds of innocent non-combatants. In spite of what Secretary Kerry has said, there is anecdotal evidence that Al Queda has used sarin gas in the war, according to the Russians.

Turkey reveals that they raided a terrorist cell in their country, and confiscated a 2 kg container of sarin gas that was intended to kill innocent Turks. Therefore, we know that extreme Islamic terrorists have access to sarin.

If we take all the stories as evidence, then we don’t have a clue who is the angel, and who is the devil in this fight. Have we heard about this doubt from the White House?

We need much more information before we should start killing people in Syria. It is pretty plain that the Administration has data they are not sharing with the public, and we need to know exactly what is going on.

As we put up with a muddling Presidency, we also have an uninformed Congress. In my opinion the Congress should recommend AGAINST the bombing, and let the President make whatever decision he must that is in the interest of the United States of America.

So far, all we have from Obama is the inability to identify those interests, and his embarrassing talent to back terrorist groups like the Egyptian Brotherhood and Al Queda.

Every Thing Is Normal

Mother Earth is still in her orbit around Sol, and the crickets are still doing their job in the Georgia nighttime symphony. Football season has arrived, and Barack Obama has done the absolutely predictable thing of dodging responsibility for his actions.

I am watching the Georgia football team get whipped by a hot Clemson team and Alabama beat an over-powered Virginia Tech. The really big news in other locales is that President Obama will put the question of Syrian military strikes to the US Congress.

Wow! His stated reason for doing so is because it is a really important decision, and it is important for the US Congress to have their say in the situation, regardless of the fact that Obama has already decided to kill some Syrians whether we have a vital interest in the Syrian situation, or not.

The time to worry about our interests in Syria are long past. Like melons and other fruits of the field, the longer you wait, the more ripe and rotten things get. Obama was not capable of ascertaining our interests in Syria, or who we should support. Now, all options are bad options, and the fool will wind up supporting a bunch of radical Islamist terrorists in the agency of Al Queda, and other terrorist groups. What a loser Barack Obama has turned out to be.

The Syrian revolt has been going on for about three years, and Barack Obama has made the huge mistake of not identifying our goals in that part of the world. Could it be that he thinks we have no legitimate place in the affairs of the Middle-East? That would partially explain his initial ass-kissing tour after his first election.

The news Sunday morning will be, Alabama wins, and Obama flounders.

9/11 Thoughts

As we approach the tenth year anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Towers, it is a time to think about what happened, who did it, who excuses it, and who would do it all over again. Credit goes to George W Bush who implemented the laws and missions of federal security agencies to stop any possible terrorist attacks on the mainland US.

One of the really big reasons this didn’t happen is that the US has been putting enormous pressure on Al Queda and associated terrorist organizations through offensive actions in Afghanistan and Iraq. Bush was right. By taking the fight to the terrorists, you keep them on the defensive. It has worked to a large degree, with the only attacks done by home grown terrorists in the US.

Obama can take credit for pursuing Osama Bin Laden, and having the SEALS kill him.

We are faced with other problems, not the least of which is an attitude that somehow those who want to kill us can be reasonable people. Just this thought is preposterous. We know from reading the Koran that Islam thinks it is just fine to lie, torture, and kill non-believers. You cannot reason with these people.

Strangely enough, I like the Muslim people I know. Maybe they are different, or not confrontational. I don’t feel like challenging them, and they are probably hesitant about telling a 6′ 2″, 250 pound guy that they don’t like him or his religion.

Now that Bin Laden is dead, and Al Queda is marginalized in part, what should we be doing?

We are in danger of losing Iraq, and Afghanistan. The current Administration does not want to be there, and doesn’t seem to understand why we are there in the first place, It is a problem that, hopefully, the 2012 elections will settle.

Life is tough. Those who want to kill you make it tougher.
