It’s Over 8

Today, Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of The United States today, and his first duty was to escort President Barack Obama and his wife,  Michelle, to a helicopter to begin their trip to Palm Springs, California.

It’s over for Barack Obama. No longer will he have the bully pulpit of the Presidency to excoriate those who disagree with him, and no longer will he be able to sign executive orders to force unlegislated laws and regulations on the populace.

However, Barack Obama will not go quietly in the night. His very DNA makes him want to shoot his mouth off about everything, while shaking his finger, figuratively and literally, at those he is addressing. He will have his own pulpit based on the well known advocacy of Obama given by the dominant, liberal press outlets.

The main idea is that the age of Obama as a power is over. It is his fault that Donald Trump was elected, and Obama cannot gripe because he has no legacy. As Britt Hume observed, Barack Obama’s legacy is Donald Trump.

The King is dead. Long live the King.

  1. So happy. Fantastic Speech today.

I think Mr Trump got elected because the dems ran a horrible candidate, obama himself, the media, the celebrities, and the heads of failing socialist European countries telling us we were knuckle dragging apes if we supported Trump. The “no politician” thing is what really got people that hadn’t voted probably in decades out to vote more than anything else.

  2. It was a good day. From all reports, the Dems will be doing everything they can to block any and all of Trump’s appointees. I am sure he and his team are aware of this, and should have a strategy in place to get things done.
