Leave Colin Kaepernick Alone! 2

You heard me. Leave the guy alone.

We all know that he is probably a spoiled child just reacting to his recent realization of being a black quarterback in the most competitive league in the world. We also know that he is a young man, some think too young to be earning over ten million dollars per year, not even being a starting quarterback.

I think that Colin Kaepernick is a young man that has not reached personal maturity to make mature decisions, or even be able to understand his place in the scheme of things. Most of us don’t get that far, anyway.

Most of us don’t earn over ten million dollars per year, either. My opinion is that Colin Kaepernick is just now starting to understand that he is an African American, and has been discriminated against all his life, inspite of being raised by a white family and having been doted on and favored by everyone who has ever come into contact with him. There are conflicts here, and he is probably in the process of trying to understand them.

The San Francisco Forty-Niners have not featured Kaepernick for a while, and Kaepernick is thinking that the reason is racial. OK. Let him think that. Maybe he can take his millions of dollars and actually help someone.

As far as Colin Kaepernick not standing for the National Anthem, well, that’s within his freedom as a citizen of the United States of America. Maybe he can take some time and think about this, and then decide what kind of national music he really likes.

Something tells me that Kaepernick is not the brightest bulb in the scoreboard, anyway, and that has something to do with his sitting on the bench.

Let the guy go his own way.

Speculation On Democrat October Surprise 4

Elvis Is Dead And Bill Is Not Looking So Good, Either

Elvis Is Dead And Bill Is Not Looking So Good, Either

I have figured out what the Democrat October Surprise is going to be. Bill Clinton, being of poor health and diminished value as a political partner, will die. His death will be mourned by the entire nation as he was one of the favorite Presidents of all time. We will all miss him.

Hillary will ride the ensuing wave of sympathy to the White House. Rumors will run rampant that Hillary killed Bill, but we won’t know for sure until Wikileaks publishes hacked emails from Janet Reno and Loretta Lynch to Huma Abedin.

That’s my forecast. What’s yours?

Conspiracies, Facts, And Politics 2

HIllary Clinton Claims Stone Broke And Not Guilty

Hillary Clinton Claims Stone Broke And Not Guilty

I am working hard at not watching any television news. Anything resembling quotes, political opinions, and political polls are off limits for the time being. Since I am a prejudiced person against Hillary Clinton, I have decided to not only ignore bad news on polls, but also to ignore news altogether.

Every now and then, something will get my attention enough to make me turn on the tv.

The Hillary Clinton email scandal is exploding, again, because the State Department released another ten or fifteen thousand emails to the FBI that had not been seen, before. I learn this through online sources. This time, the evidence is very damning to Hillary.

It seems that Hillary was running a serious pay-to-play political graft machine, much like you would have expected from the big city political bosses in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

The Democrats are calling this a conspiracy theory, but it is an accurate representation of a very corrupt politician. It’s hard to minimize $100,000,000 in bribes from foreign  governments and international nere-do-wells.

The facts  concerning her complicity in illegal, influence peddling schemes are clear. She used her close aide, Huma Abedin, as a go-between in communicating with the big-money donors and the Clinton Foundation. When asked for a meeting to discuss a political favor, a donation to the Clinton Foundation was the quid pro quo, and Huma was the Clinton operative that arranged, with Hillary’s knowledge, for the cash. Private business people, foreign leaders, and recalcitrant criminals one and all contributed to the Clinton illegal slush funds, and they all received their sought-after advantages.

Hillary dirtier than an old dishrag.

Are there any Donald Trump conspiracy theories? There must be some, but I cannot think of any that come to the level of illegal activities, or even immoral levels. There is a big deal, now, about Trump not revealing his tax returns. I am on his side, there. After all, the Federal Government is auditing his returns, and if anything illegal is found, it will come out very fast. After all, the IRS is a lot more political than any other government bureau.

I may be missing part of the story on either Hillary or Trump, but I don’t care. There’s little reason to watch the news, day in and day out, especially when nothing new is happening, and all the news agencies can report is another speech or two.  Once a week is plenty to keep up to date, just like the days of the weekly news magazine.

Khizr Kahn – A Bitter, Lonely Man 11

Mr Kahn lost his son, Captain Humayun Kahn, an American war hero to an suicide murder attack in IRAQ in 2004. That’s the year I lost my son to suicide.

Our family is no stranger to losing  sons.

My brother was killed in Korea. Another brother was Missing In Action in World War II (long before I was born). My Dad didn’t vote Democrat again after the Korean war.

I say these thing not to diminish the death of Mr Kahn’s son, or to criticize Mr Kahn’s grief. I say it to tell people that I understand Mr Kahn’s pain as only a father of a deceased son could. I understand, just like my parents understood, the futility of a child being killed in a war thousands of miles from home.

It’s not fair.

I believe that Mr Kahn allowed himself, and his son’s legacy, to be used for raw political purposes. Shame on those running the Democrat National Convention for doing this disgraceful thing, even if Mr Kahn allowed it.

Mr Kahn’s  message was a criticism of Donald Trump’s proposed policy of limiting Muslim immigration into the United States until individuals could be checked-out for terrorist connections.  Mr Kahn resents this proposal, and says that if Trump’s proposal would have been in effect when his family immigrated, his son would not have been able to fight for the United States.

Stop right there.  Captain Humayun Kahn was killed by a Muslim. It was Capt. Kahn’s job to keep these terrorist Muslims out of the United States.  He was doing his job, and he knew it.

So, why is Mr Kahn so bitter? First of all, he lost his beloved son, a hero to all of us. Secondly, he seems to ignore why his son died.

Mr Kahn and the media are critical of the racial animosity sometimes felt against Pakistani’s. I am afraid this is a natural feeling given the proliferation of extremist madrasa schools in Pakistan, and the horrible, corrupt Pakistani government that gave long term shelter to Osama Bin Laden, murderer of thousands of American citizens.

As a Christian I love Mr Kahn and am praying for his and his wife’s comforting in this time of great sorrow and pain. I cannot relieve that pain and suffering, but God can help Mr Kahn as he helped us after our son died.

Donald Trump’s Muslim policy proposal is rational, and will save American lives. It is a counterfactual argument that if the policy were in effect years ago, the son would not have been in the USA to fight and die for that country.

Counterfactual means that it did not happen that way. Mr Kahn knows that when they immigrated conditions were different, and that arguments about what could have happened are pure speculation with no hint of truth. Then was then, and now is now.

Now is the time to beseech God for protection from Muslim terrorists so that more Captain Kahn’s do not have to die, either overseas, or here at home.
